Universalboard for Wattenscheider

One of my main projects is the elektronic interlocking system "Elekdra". To control signals via Elekdra, the development of a decoder was necessary. Elekdra uses "LotusNet", a derivate of LocoNet by Digitrax, as the communication bus.

It also was necessary to develop a board, which receives and decodes messages from LotusNet and controls a signal correctly.

The first version of that board was done a time ago and is in operation now. The operation showed, that a redesign was necessary.

Status

Tests with prototype finished. Collecting reports auf needs.

Features

The board is basicaly used to control signals. Caused by the use of darlington arrays (ULN2803) and additionaly normal outputs and inputs, the board can control almost everything on model railroads, even turnouts. This just has a need for special software. The board outline was fixed by the space in the "Wattenscheider Schacht".
